bals follow eachother

What a round !

What a round this morning . the weather was great ..
I totally missed the first hole.. took a 3 put on the 2nd par 3 where my first ball was pin high :(

Then the trouble started .. at the 3rd Tee box I sliced my ball and my Iron 3's clubhead decided it wanted to divorce it's shaft. So the 200M+ shots I had lined up for the rest of the day were gone ... the clubs decided something else.

Things started to go better then .. I tought I missed the green on the first PAR 5 of the course by about 10meters to the left out of bounds.. So I hit a provisional.. missed the green short before chipping it on the green and starting to look for my first ball. Which we didn't find.

Upon walking to the green we saw 3 balls lying on the green .. we wondered where that 3rd ball came from.. It seemed that a nice friendly tree decided to change the course of my ball and drop on the green.. not sure if one can call that in regulation, but 2 puts later the par was secured.

Both my first and provisional t-shot on the next hole sliced .. while we were walking to the bushes I joked that when you hit 2 bad balls in a row they usually drop withing 1 meter of eachother. And that's indeed what had happened .. both my balls under the same root , both unplayable, took the punishment ,and a par on the next hole

Finished the 9 holes with 17 points.. fair enough :
Now let's get that 3 Iron repaired ;)
